On December 30th, Canada’s Minister of Finance announced that the federal government proposed to amend the Income Tax Act (ITA) to extend the deadline for making donations eligible for tax receipts in the 2024 tax year, until February 28, 2025. The legislation was to be introduced when Parliament returned.
Since Parliament has now been prorogued until March 2025, the proposed legislative changes have not yet been tabled in Parliament. If the legislation is passed, we will provide you with the necessary details on taking advantage of the extended timeline for your 2024 tax-year donations.

Prayer is a lifeline of hope! We provide 1,300 prayer interactions daily by phone, email, snail mail, and chat. Thousands have dedicated their life to Jesus and received Biblical resources and mentorship.

Globally, we invest in both short-term emergencies and long-term development projects, benefiting millions while fulfilling the Bible’s call to love our neighbour through partnerships with over 60 on-site ministries and local NGOs.

- Direct Bank Transfers: Set up an electronic fund transfer (EFT) directly to Crossroads’ account using etransfer@crossroads.ca. Please include your name and address in the memo section.
- Phone Donations: Call Crossroads directly at 1-800-265-3100 to make a donation by credit card over the phone. This ensures your support is received immediately.
- Text to Give: You can also text the word “GIVE” to 1-844-915-3267, followed by your gift amount. Example: GIVE 100. If you’re an existing donor, we’ll automatically charge the credit card we have on file, as long as it’s valid. If your card has expired, please make a new donation using any other payment method requiring credit card input to regain access to text-to-give services.
