Help provide emergency relief for families in Turkey & Syria
In the early morning hours of February 6th, 2023, a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake, along with multiple aftershocks have struck Turkey and Syria, devastating the regions. The death toll is over 5,000 people and so many others are in urgent need.
CROSSROADS CARES IS RESPONDING TO PROVIDE
EMERGENCY CARE FOR FAMILIES IN NEED.
The death toll continues to rise as rescue workers are picking through the rubble trying to find survivors. Roads are blocked, and hospitals are overloaded with the thousands of injured arriving in many areas that already struggled to provide medical care. The weather is also expected to hamper relief efforts as temperatures drop below freezing at night and snow could be expected.
Crossroads is working with trusted partners to respond with relief materials such as blankets, clean water, tents, clothing, and emergency food to families.
God cares for people through people, and it is during catastrophic events like this that we can help families during their darkest hours. Urgent prayers are needed for the victims of the earthquake and the relief workers in Turkey and Syria. Please help us provide the relief support they need to get them through the coming days and weeks.
